Project Management and Training

ISS is more than just a provider of a turn-key software/hardware solution. Many savvy restaurant owners realize that the key to a successful POS installation hinges on the experience and professionalism of the POS dealer, and that is one of the reason they choose ISS. A project manager is assigned to each individual installation and will guide the customer through our program of 8 steps to a successful installation

  • Site consultation and data base discovery: Our project manager will cover equipment placement, electrical and data communication requirements, and query the restaurants management for all information needed to build a customized program and data base.
  • Data base programming development: During this phase of the project, POS programs and screens are developed.
  • Hardware configuration and staging: POS hardware is burned in, tested, configured, and software and database is loaded.
  • Equipment installation: The finished POS system is installed at your site and tested.
  • Management Training: During these sessions our project manager goes over front of the house management tasks, as well as data base maintenance, reporting, trouble shooting, and system security.
  • Staff training: Divided into sessions for FOH and BOH employees, and also in regards to different job types of the establishment including servers, bartenders, hostess's, delivery, and floor managers.
  • Live on site support: One of the most crucial aspects of the installation. Our staff will be on hand to lend assistance and answer questions as needed.
  • After installation follow up and consulting: A meeting is scheduled after the installation to insure the customer has a good understanding of the system.

Help-desk

At ISS we realize that when you need help, you need it immediately. During business hours we always have trained Help- Desk staff on duty with a database record of your hardware, software, and previous issues. Our goal is to resolve your issue immediately. After hours you will reach our help desk directly by phone.



Hardware

Although we offer only the best "retail hardened" POS hardware available, there are times when immediate on-site repair is needed, many times on weekends or after hours.

On-site hardware support includes:
